Restoring and Refilling Topsoil

Responsible and environmentally conscious mining is at the core of FURA GEMS’s values. Through shallow pit mining, the topsoil excavated from one pit is meticulously restored to nearby pits. This approach, known as simultaneous mining and soil refilling, accelerates land regeneration. Farming projects developed on these regenerated lands create additional employment and income opportunities, showcasing our commitment to sustainable practices and community development.
