Supporting Education

In July 2021, FURA invested in education by constructing a primary school in Napula, Montepuez District (SE), demonstrating our dedication to empowering communities through access to education.

Farming Education Support

In July 2023, FURA took a significant step by establishing the FURA Academy in Monetpuez, aiming to foster long-term, sustainable, and intelligent agricultural practices to combat food insecurity (ER, SE).

Encouraging Recreational Sports

Recognizing the universal love for soccer, FURA GEMS contributed to the vibrant community in Mozambique’s rich pink sapphire mining area. Restoring and Refilling Topsoil

Responsible and environmentally conscious mining is at the core of FURA GEMS’s values. Through shallow pit mining, the topsoil excavated from one pit is meticulously restored to nearby pits. This approach, known as simultaneous mining and soil refilling, accelerates land regeneration. Farming projects developed on these regenerated lands create additional employment and income opportunities, showcasing our commitment to sustainable practices and community development.
